There are many ways to volunteer with Operation Red Sleigh.

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
VOLUNTEERING
First, in order to participate in the events you must register. We have 2 main events - The Sleigh Ride and The Reindeer Run and Dash.
The Sleigh Ride is our Cycling event. We offer 4 different routes through out the beautiful Uwharrie National Forest. The Sleigh Ride is always the 3rd Saturday in July.
The Reindeer Run and Dash is held the 2nd Saturday of December. The run is a 5K through out Dowtown Asheboro. The Reindeer Dash is a 1 mile fun run for children and families.
Participate
We receive our lists from the county and city schools in October. We begin shopping in early November after we cross reference our lists with other organizations, such as Salvation Army, and Toys4Tots to make sure we offer services to as many as possible.
